Arcade Arcade is an animation film inspired by a rough sound-recording of an arcade hall. All images are derived from a single graphic depicting a ball-like object and are constructed and organised following the structural consistency of Morse code. Audible events were translated into writing and synthesized through the mapping of adjacent Morse code. These than described the particular event, onto properties of frequency, duration and movement of the image. Arcade is the result of patient and prolonged manual calculation and editing, not being able to automate the process at that time.
